1991 Mercury Tracer

The1991 Mercury Tracer is essentially the twin of Ford Escort. You can only find
very little difference from this two in the grille and taillight design. In this
entry level the Mercury have had a complete makeover. Tracer was made available
in either four-door notchback or four-door wagon. This is to retain good sales
in the industry in spite of its rivals.
The Tracer is equipped with 1.9-ltert four-cylinder engine that generates power.
A dual overhead cam comes standard for the LTS which has 1.8-liter four-cylinder
powertrain that could kick up to 88 horsepower. The two trims both have five-speed
manual transmission or four-speed automatic transmission, as well as the optional
engine. It features a sheetmetal with semi-flush glass which creates a slicker
appeal. The interior displays a fresh dash, full console, rear seat heater ducts,
and passenger-side visor mirror. Tracer is available in sedan and wagon with base
sedan, LTS sedan and base wagon.
