1998 Mercury Tracer
In the year 1998 the Mercury Tracer is essentially unchanged from it predecessor.
The only changes were the replacement of airbags unto a weaker one and a larger
center console. The reason for that is for sure not to improve the safety of the
supplemental restraint system that it offers. The Tracer is available in GS and
LS sedan or wagon, accommodating five passengers. It is equipped with 2.0-liter
4-cylinder SPI engine expected to run for 100,000 miles, generating 110 horsepower.
This powertrain is being coupled with 5-speed manual overdrive with transaxle.

The Mercury Tracer's key features include variable interval wipers, integrated
control panel, 60/40 split folding rear seat, body color body side moldings, AM/FM
