1999 Mercury Tracer

The Tracer is the smallest model in Mercury's lineup. It is a subcompact vehicle that has got new engine, new styling, and fresh interior for 1999. Tracer is the twin of the Ford Escort except for some distinctive touches. Tracer is featuring a dashboard with an integrated control panel located at its center, designed for the climate and audio controls. It comes in either sedan or wagon.

In the 1999 model of the Mercury Tracer changes include the addition of interior trunk release and of the remote keyless entry which comes standard for the LS so as an anti-theft system. It is equipped with 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine which is generating 110 horsepower to pull itself. It is coupled with five-speed manual transmission. Mercury Tracer is also offering an optional four-speed automatic transmission. You can also find standard air bags to help ensure safety as well as optional anti lock brakes.
